I had breakfast with our mayor today
I am not kidding
he reminds me a lot of my boss's husband but without the irreverent smile twinkling behind the business man. just a smart practical guy who was decent to share coffee with - He has a sort of cool not too hyped up side which makes me think he might have gotten to sit at the back of the bus with the cool kids in junior high. Today's his brooklyn day. And he picked my super duper cool coffee shop with its quirky cast of regulars and the evil villain landlord to kick off said Brooklyn day. I felt like I was on that sitcom "Becker"
