Sorting through the ever growing list of emails abut our worrisome political climate-the news depresses me somthing awful -I found a few uplifting things-sites where you can feel usefull, good reports. ways to be constructive. Here are some highlights:
you can call the white house and get a real live operator with whom to officially register your opinion about this possible war- call 202-456-1111 be patient through the recording, wait for the real live person then say "for" or "against" war on Iraq. I did it a couple of weeks ago-what a thrill.

For New Yorkers check out brooklyn parents for peace-they've got lots of volunteer opportunities and meetings planned
My phone company also tends to cull through the riff raff and find great online resources as well (great service and free Ben & Jerry's too)-click the "activism" tab
