Penultimate
I just returned from my next to last trip as a non-mom. My marvelous college girlfrineds and I converged in Nashville to bestow love and blessings upon one's new arrival (a 4 month old!) and to generally have sweet and supported fun girltimes. Oh yes, and to ooh and ahh over the belly in all its bursting glory. I was pampered, force-fed and generally treated like a demi-goddess. I took naps every day and went to bed by eleven every night! It doesn't get much bech better these days for a weekend getaway. The only thing better is to finalyl have mah honey back at home - that's the best

Ahh Tejas
I just returned form the state of our progeny's imminent arrival - not an emotional state- the physica, geographical state of Texas. If ever there was a siren song of Texas it is heard loud and clear during the warm spring months when the bluebonnets and indian paintbrushes are bursting out all over...when music takes over your city even more than before and although its crowded everyone is happy and friendly and familiar...especially when you've got a tight round basketball belly pushing out in front of you and you are on the arm of your beloved...when people 's surprise and good wishes wash over their face and most especially when you are surrounded by the warmth and generosity of old friends and showered with their kindness...
thanks Austin and thanks to the showerers and thanks to the cosmos for such fortune to be able to visit that marvelous parallel universe and get recharged...
