it is indeed my birthday - i, like many 7 year-olds, am ecstatic and am telling everyone - even with an accompanying dance and song - at times.
unlike many 7 year-olds i am going to do my best to get free drinks in whatever fine dining establishment my sweet honey takes me to. not cause i need to drink a lot to deal with the encroaching horrors of the mid (no longer early) thirties BUT because i feel that people in the service industry should know about and duly appreciate my very special day. it's the least they can do, they'd do it if they spilt something on me or royally effed my order - So why not skip the middle man and git straight to the celebratory and somewhat conciliatory free drink? sympathy drink if you will - i'm not too proud
